The Seymour Show: October 4, from 4 - 9pm and October 5 from 9am - 4pm at Kings Park. Celebrating 161 years the Seymour Show is set to be bigger and better than ever. Get up close and see, pat and feed hundreds of farm animals at the expansive animal precincts and attractions. Meet and greet adorable baby animals in the animal nursery. Vic Fish Kids: October 6 at Goulburn Park, Seymour. A free event aiming to get more children fishing, more often. Everything is provided when you sign up for the guided fishing clinic, so youngsters can cast a line and try fishing in a safe and supportive environment. Tallarook Farmers Market: October 6 at CWA Park, Tallarook. The market boasts a variety of authentic locally-grown produce from local farmers. Seasonal produce includes fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, mushrooms, cheese, pork, beef, lamb, goat, wine, beer, olives, olive oil, garlic, honey, ferments, jams, preserves, chocolate, pastries, cakes and much more. Avenel Maze: 471 Upton Rd. Ned Kelly-themed maze with hedge maze, mini golf, rock labyrinth, Ned’s knot maze, barbecue facilities, local wines, covered decking area and outstanding views of the ranges. Groups are welcome and group packages are available. The venue can also be booked for functions, concerts, birthday parties and corporate events.
