Mudgee to host first Festival of Snags

By Country News

Mudgee will host the first Festival of Snags on Saturday, November 30, after winning online travel site Wotif's campaign — Festival of Wot? — to help one Aussie town throw its very own festival. Wotif group managing director Daniel Finch said it was remarkable to see such widespread participation.

“Not only are we excited to create a quirky and quintessentially Aussie festival, but we’re thrilled to be able to deliver something meaningful for the Mudgee community, that we hope will provide a boost to the local economy and tourism industry amidst a drought-affected regional area.”

The one-day event will bring locals and tourists together to showcase Mudgee's locally sourced produce.
