Schools and exhibitors from around the district met at Rochester Recreation Reserve on Tuesday to talk about safety on Victorian farms and roads.

More than 650 students from 16 schools attended the annual Farm and Road Safety Expo to raise awareness and educate kids about proper care around farm machinery, animals, resources and roads.
Because there's no such thing as an accident. It's an incident.
Held by the Rotary Club of Rochester, the aim of the event was to reduce the amount of farm fatalities and incidents in Victoria.
Exhibitors and exhibitions at the expo included the police, SES, CFA, REDHS, Bike Safety, Fonterra, HART Honda, St John Ambulance, Splash’n’Learn, Life Saving Victoria, Echuca Vintage Machinery, Large Farm Machinery, Safety using a PTO, Maritime Safety, Coliban Water, Firearms Safety, Wild Life Rescue, McColl’s Transport, Kyabram Vintage Engines & Machinery, Reptile Safety, Safety using Small Tools, Responsible Pet Ownership, Safety around Horses, Wild Life Rescue, School Crossing Supervisors and Safety around the School Bus.
