This free session is a part of a Health Needs Assessment that is taking place across the Murrumbidgee region, aimed at identifying and finding solutions for any gaps in the health services they offer.
MHPN is seeking your health stories and your views to help it plan for your local health needs now and in the future.
Residents are encouraged to come and chat about any concerns or ideas they may have about health services in their community.
Past conversations have raised awareness of issues such as mental health of farmers, GP shortages, and awareness and access to specialty services.
This year, MHPN is hoping to receive feedback on Aboriginal and Indigenous health services, LGBTQIA+ health services, mental health for all members of the community, and migrant and refugee health.
They will also be seeking feedback on child, maternity, family, teen, and farmer health, along with dedicated men’s and womens’ health issues.
The Tocumwal session will be held at Chrissie’s Book Lounge, 44 Deniliquin St, on Friday, August 26 between 9.30am to 11.30pm.
