On Sunday, May 17 rally up your friends and head to the Shepparton Showgrounds for all things birds.
GV Bird Club president Steve Marven says this is one of the three biggest bird expos in Australia — and the one people hold out for.
“We make it a must-see event,” he said.
“There are people from all over Australia bringing birds available to be purchased.
“It brings the people with common interests together.”
The Shepparton Bird Expo is mainly a sale of a range of birds, from finches to parrots, and accessories such as bird seed.
Birds costing from $5 to $50,000 will be at the expo, catering to all people.
The expo is open to the public from 9.30am and purchasing of birds commences at 11am, with adult entry just $5 and kids free.
All funds from the expo will go back into the GV Bird Club so it can put on events such as this each year.
