The American Iron Echuca Truck Display is back for another year, with this year’s edition of the event welcoming modified tractors and mini tractor pull demonstrations.
Committee member for the American Truck Historical Society (Australian chapter), Jenny Cotterell said the truck display is a popular event among Echuca Moama community members, who often own their own working trucks.
“There is something for everyone at the truck display,” Ms Cotterell said.
“The old trucks always seem to spark memories for people. We always hear people reminiscing and saying ‘I remember this type of truck from when I was a kid’.”
Ms Cotterell said the society will be donating a portion of the funds, obtained through ticket sales, towards Echuca’s new Cancer and Wellness Centre.
“The more money we make through ticket sales, the more we can give back to our community and to the Cancer Centre,” she said.
The display event will run from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11.
Tickets are available for purchase at the event, with adult tickets on sale for $10 and weekend passes for $15.
Children are permitted to attend for free.
