Concerningly, eight of the new cases were unlinked, with people in the same household as known cases expected to test positive to COVID-19 in coming days due to the infectious nature of the Delta variant.
Eight people are in hospital with coronavirus in Shepparton, ranging from young adults to older patients.
GV Health chief executive Matt Sharp said again most of the cases looked to be through household transmission rather than in the community and urged people not to break the rules, although he said most people were doing the right thing.
“It's concerning to see more people testing positive,” he said.
Mr Sharp said GV Health was processing 500 to 700 tests per day, and he thanked the community for coming forward to be tested.
He again encouraged anyone who hadn't booked an appointment to be vaccinated to come forward.
He said high vaccination rates would slow the spread of the virus and protect people who did contract it from severe symptoms or hospitalisation.
