The project has received $8.5 million from the Federal Government and $3.75 million from the Victorian Government with the remainder funded by the council. It is expected the redevelopment will take 12 months to complete.
The images were included by council planners in an application for building and works, including demolition in the heritage overlay.

Council is currently evaluating separate tenders for project management services and construction.
Early works, including some demolition, is expected to start prior to Christmas with the main construction commencing in January 2022.
Council has sought co-operation as part of the tender process for the winning bidder to work flexibly through the redevelopment to minimise disruption to mall traders and customers.
