In Robert Baxter's case be very aware — he's a model as well as an actor, singer and dancer.
And the Shepparton 21-year-old's career path has just stepped up a notch with an appearance in the latest video from Australia's global music sensation Tones and I.
The former Melbourne busker's breakout song Dance Monkey became the most streamed song by a female artist last year with more than 2.2 billion Spotify streams. The song also spent a record-breaking 24 weeks at number one in the Aria Singles Chart.
So when Robert got a call from his Melbourne agent to say Tones and I's production crew was looking for a dancer to appear in a promotional video for the pop singer's debut album, Welcome to the Madhouse, he was just a bit excited.
“It was just amazing. There was a full film set, a big production crew, fake rain and three dancers,” he said.
The video was filmed over four hours in Melbourne on Friday, July 9, and released this week.
Robert can be seen wearing an oversize fluorescent raincoat and cap with a collapsed umbrella in a rainstorm. He plays one of three dancers dressed as Tones and I who are "lost in the madhouse". The video is a Spotify US promotional campaign for the Welcome to the Madhouse album.
“I was in hair and make-up for one hour, rehearsal for another hour, then it was shot over two hours,” he said.

The Tones and I video is not Robert's first film appearance — his unique look has earned him appearances in advertising campaigns, fashion shoots and theatre shows.
Since attending St Brendan's Primary School and Notre Dame Secondary College, Robert has appeared in Goulburn Valley Grammar School, Shepparton Theatre Arts Group and Initial Stages theatre productions.

He is now employed as a dance teacher at Shepparton's Amy Newton Dance Studios.
Robert described his appearance in the Tones and I video as another exciting step in his long dance journey.
“It's just amazing. I've been dancing since I was six and, after all these years, it's really validating to get this chance,” he said.
