The upgrades, which began in February, included the demolition of the intersection's roundabout, pavement removal, storm water upgrades, new pedestrian crossings, re-asphalting, new traffic lights and landscaping.
“We are excited to see works progressing along Maude St as scheduled,” Greater Shepparton City Council infrastructure director Phil Hoare said.
“The intersection upgrade will assist traffic flow along Vaughan St from Wyndham St through to Corio St. Greater Shepparton residents will continue to see works occurring north of the intersection.
“The upgrades between Vaughan St and High St will improve the amenity of this area and will provide centre of the road parking, along with other upgrades including landscaping.”
Works will now move north along Maude St towards Rowe St.
