They will be one of 14 teams to feature on season two of hit Network 10 show The Amazing Race Australia, with the Shepparton team in the running for the $250,000 prize.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has meant the show cannot feature its usual international travel, the contestants will find themselves sprinting across Australia and taking part in exhilarating challenges in order to try and win the great race.
Asked why she wanted to be on the show, Ms Collier said it had always been a pipe dream.
“I was a kid in the Philippines when I started watching The Amazing Race. I clearlyremember saying these words: ‘when I grow up, I am going on that show with my dad’," she said.
“When they announced that The Amazing Race was coming back to Australia, I looked down at a giant belly baking a baby and I couldn’t even see my toes. So, I thought I would wait.
“When the opportunity to apply for season two came up, we went for it and I am so thrilled to be here. I still can’t believe this is real.”
