Tatura Seniors Citizens Club Notes
November 23 to 30

As December dawns on us and the year begins to wind down, the club is ensuring every day left of 2019 is action packed.

Today the group is heading to Albury for the day to do some shopping and have some lunch.

Jean celebrated her birthday in style last month and we wish her all the best for the year ahead.

Members can look forward to the Christmas lunch on Wednesday, December 11, which will be held at noon sharp.

And in keeping with the festive spirit, donations for the raffle would go far. The more donations the merrier.

Wednesday, December 18 is clean-up day, so come along and make the effort a quick job.

After the Christmas break, the group will meet back up again on Wednesday, January 29.

To accompany the meeting there will be a free barbeque for members.

Names will begin to be sorted for the first luncheon of the new year, which will take place on Wednesday, February 5.

On Wednesday, January 12 at 10.30am the group’s first committee meeting for 2020 will be held.

We want to says welcome back to Jaan Paarsons, returning to the group after a long illness in hospital.

Keith Morton knew when to hold ‘em and fold ‘em, as he is this week’s card champion, while Marlene Penelly took out the games competition.

John Gow won the comp.
