Christmas market will be back after being washed out over the weekend

The wild and wet weather dampened spirits at the Shepparton Farmers Market last Sunday.

Stallholders at the annual Christmas-themed market did their best to battle on in the turbulent conditions, but many regular visitors were a no show.

Knowing people in the past have loved buying their Christmas gifts and goodies at the market, organisers have decided to have another Christmas market on Sunday, December 22.

Hoping for better conditions, the market will be at Emerald Bank from 9am to 1pm.

Visitors will have the opportunity to snag that last-minute present and collect their Christmas cherries and fresh vegetables in time for the big day.
