The Australian National Show 'n' Shine took over Seven Creeks Park with an estimated 1000 cars and more than 600 bikes on display.
Fords, Holdens, Chevrolet Corvettes, Jaguars, Morrises, Ferraris and even Wolseleys were featured in the annual car show.
Although still to be confirmed, early estimates put attendance figures well in excess of last year’s 8000 people.
Entrants gave their beloved cars a final vacuum and polish before using the opportunity to socialise with like-minded petrol-heads.
A few decided to show off their creativity by dressing to impress with the 1970s theme of the day.
“The standard of the vehicles on display was amazing and the exhibitors are to be congratulated,” event director Ross Holt said.
“There were so many cars and bikes arrive that we could not accommodate them all.
“The hardworking committee are to be congratulated on their amazing effort — well done for a top result.
“To run a show like this, we rely on over 150 volunteers who have made a huge contribution as well as the Strathbogie Shire having the parks in an absolutely beautiful condition."The committee is happy that this event is now recognised as perhaps the premium show and shine in the state, and brings many benefits to Euroa,” Mr Holt said.
The title for best car in the show was awarded to Patrick O'Brien from Wagga Wagga with his 1970s GTS Holden Monaro.
