By Tara Whitsed

Goulburn Valley Health’s Peter Copulos Cancer and Wellness Centre has been supported by the Euroa Golf Club’s Pink Ribbon event.

Several ladies took to the course before attending a special luncheon on Wednesday this week.

GV Health Foundation director Carmel Johnson attended the lunch, speaking to the golfers about her role, the hospital and the establishment of the centre.

“GV Health is so incredibly lucky to be supported by the immediate and broader community,” she said.

“We can’t thank you enough as members of this community.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support we get and that’s one of the things that drives me.”

Euroa Golf Club ladies president Gail Allen said the club was eager to keep the funds raised at a local level.

“So that we can reap the rewards into the future,” she said.

She thanked the golfers for their contributions to the donation.
