Wilmot Rd Primary School was filled with science madness yesterday, as students took part in a range of activities to celebrate National Science Week.
The students enjoyed a visit from Echuca-based educational group twistED Science and Tim Slavin from Jacobs Engineering Group in Tatura.
School science specialist and Year 5/6 teacher Keisha Demasi said the students love taking part in the activities and learning more about science.
Mrs Demasi said it was the first time twistED Science had performed for the school, teaching the students how to make rockets out of empty tea bags.
"The experiment was all about this year's National Science Week theme - Destination Moon," she said.
Mr Slavin spoke to the children about his role before helping them build towers and bridges.
Mrs Demasi said parents and guardians were also invited to enjoy the presentations.
