Nearly 90 women filled Tatura's Hill Top Golf Club bistro last Friday morning for the Tatura Community House event.
The morning kicked off with a tasty breakfast before guests were treated to an inspirational talk by guest speaker and financial planner Tracey Sofra.
Tatura Community House manager Leeane Button said she was delighted to have Ms Sofra as part of the event.
"It was inspiring and empowering,'' she said.
She said although the Community House had never hosted a major event such as this before, she was pleased to see so many women in attendance.
"We were just blown away by all the women that came,'' Ms Button said.
"They came from different organisations, different businesses. We had older people, younger people - it was just a really good turnout.
"And you look at the chat afterwards and realise the networking is just as important as anything else.''
She said following the success of the breakfast, the Community House hoped to continue the momentum by holding an annual major event for women.
