From February 4 to April 4, master photographer Richard Tatti’s “nightscape” works will light up the hall — an experience not to be missed.
Known around the world for his alluring shots of the Milky Way, Bendigo’s Richard Tatti has spent the past six years travelling central Victoria and discovering different perspectives on the region’s beautiful scenery.
He posts regular videos on his YouTube channel, providing an insight into his working process, and conducts photography workshops in Tarnagulla.
Richard’s journey has pushed him from Elmore to Rochester to Echuca and back again, and now he has his eyes set on Kyabram.
“People are always very interested in the shots because they’re unusual. People coming to this exhibition will probably not have seen photography like this before,” Richard said.
“I think it’ll be a photographic exhibition that people will not see anywhere else — so come and have a look.”
Exhibition curator Dey Alexander said she could not wait for people to come and check out the show.
“I’m really excited about Richard’s show because this will be the first time we’ve had astrophotography in the community gallery,” she said.
“He specialises in beautiful nightscapes, beautiful Milky Way shots and landscapes in the dark. It’s just gorgeous work.”
The Land and Sky, the Art of the Night exhibition will run from February 4 to April 4 at the Kyabram Town Hall on Mondays to Saturdays.
The official opening will be held on February 8 at 2 pm.
