Heathcote’s 2020 fixture revealed

By Brayden May

IF HEATHCOTE needed any more reason to be excited about the start of 2020, then they've found it following the release of the Heathcote District League fixture for next season.

The Saints have been handed a prime time slot to kick off their season, a night game on the road to Elmore in round one.

A unique situation will also greet the Saints in the early stages of the season, where they will play just one game in three weeks due to a bye in round three (April 18) followed by the general bye on May 2.

Heathcote will have two byes during the season - in rounds 3 and 12.

White Hills and Mount Pleasant will face off in a season curtain raiser on March 28, moving forward their fixture from round seven.

The grand final will be played on Saturday, September 5.

On the netball front, the Saints have appointed Kelsey Hayes and Ash Sharp as B grade and B reserve coach respectively.
