Is your club struggling for numbers in the reserves? Are you looking for some warm bodies to see out the winter months on the football field? Well if you are, you’re certainly in luck.
The Shepparton News sports team is keen to have a run around together at least once in the latter half of the season, and would again like to help out a club in need.
Katamatite has had the services of ‘‘The Gun’’ for a handful of games after he initially put himself on the market two years ago, but it is time for another club’s canteen and bar takings to benefit from his efforts.
And coming along for the ride will be Aydin ‘‘Injuries’’ Payne and Alex ‘‘Debut’’ Mitchell.
What the trio lacks in football ability it certainly makes up for in dragging a photographer along for the ride.
Deadline day for clearances is fast-approaching (June 30) so if your club needs help making up the numbers send an email to sport@sheppnews.com.au detailing your plight to be in the running.
The team will decide on a place to land - and target a suitable fixture - by the end of next week.
