Grand final day proved disappointing for Jerilderie's Division Three bowls team on Saturday.
The trip to Numurkah certainly seemed longer on the way home after losing all three rinks to Wunghnu on the well presented facility.
Individual rink scores were Col Bryce’s team Fred Scammell, Faith Bryce and John Bryce went down 21 to 23, Lucy Gurciullo's team of Mary Catena, Terry McGee and Ken Dallas down 11 to 29 and Terry Chaplains team of Betty Conn , Bill Williams and Mick Pitt down 13 to 38.
Congratulations to Wunghnu, the match was played in great spirit and they were the better team on the day.
Jerilderie has had a successful season, backing up after winning last year.
Thanks go to Kath Williams, reserve player for the grand final and to Lucy Sweeney for playing through the season when available.
