The fun evening attracted 80 people, who used ‘funny money’ to bet on a series of pre-recorded overseas horse races with humorous commentary.
There were four mock races on the card, with plenty of chances to bet with the ‘bent’ bookies.
A fashions on the field was also run on the night, with ex-local Margaret Singleton the judge.
“It was just a really fun night with everyone getting involved with the race day spirit,” Jerilderie Preschool & Kindergarten committee member Eden Hercus said.
“Awards were handed out to the best punters on the night as well as to the fashions winners.
“Everyone got into the spirit of the evening with the men dressing up and the ladies wearing their frocks and fascinators.”
