Bonanza begins

The first of the Finley Christmas Shopping Bonanza draws will be conducted on Monday.Three $100 local shopping vouchers will be up for grabs, with entries earned simply by shopping at local participating businesses.Three $100 vouchers will be given away each week until December 16.The weekly draws will be followed by three grand prize draws at the Finley Lions Club Xmas Xtravaganza on December 21, worth up to $1500 combined.Each grand prize draw is valued at $250, but if the winner is present at the announcement point within five minutes the voucher amount will double.The total prize pool of the Finley Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture initiative is a whopping $3000.The campaign started on Monday, and an entry ticket is earned for any purchase greater than $5 at a participating store.Additional entry tickets are earned for every additional $50 spent, up to 20 tickets in any one transaction.Only original entry tickets stamped by a participating business will be accepted.The Bonanza is proudly supported and coordinated by the Southern Riverina News.
