Get ready for a weekend of art, fun and show 'n' shines in Shepparton.

The Country Music Festival arrives today, as does Fame The Musical.

But there is also Lady Boss Events and the Shepparton Model Railway Exhibition on tomorrow and Sunday.

For car enthusiasts, there is a car/bike/truck show 'n' shine at Ribs for Kids tomorrow while the HSCCA Statesman Nationals is on at the Shepparton Motor Museum tomorrow and Sunday.

Shepparton Country Music Festival

What: Artists including Terry Leonard, Sandie Dodd, Callum Gleeson, Brendan Scott, Col Thomson, Venessa Waara, June Newman, Marke Kelly, Graham Eyer, Kerran Keats and Denva Band.

When: Today until Sunday.

Where: Shepparton Harness Racing Club, 7580 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla.

Fame The Musical

Riverlinks WestSide: Initial Stages youth theatre group presents Fame The Musical today, tomorrow and Sunday. Phone 5832 9511.

Social Badminton

What: Come along and try your luck at free badminton sessions. This fast-paced sport has opportunities for all ages — from juniors to seniors, from social to competitive. All equipment is provided.

Beyond the Blues

What: A music day which features local musicians and a Melbourne-based blues band to raise money for Beyond Blue, which supports people battling mental health problems.

Lady Boss Events

What: Join Lorinska Merrington (Yummy Mummies), Bec Douros (The Block), Shannon Kelly White (Shannon's Kitchen Australia), Tess Shanahan and Dr Nat Kringoudis (traditional Chinese medicine) as they discuss women's health, motherhood, small business and life's sticky bits.

Shepparton Model Railway Exhibition

What: A model, miniature and prototype rail exhibition.

Kids Space - October

What: Council is inviting the children of Greater Shepparton to try their hand at one of Australia’s favourite sports, golf, as part of its new initiative, Kids Space.

HSCCA Statesman Nationals

What: Celebrating all things Holden there will be a show 'n' shine at the Shepparton Motor Museum tomorrow and a 30km cruise from the Shepparton Motor Museum to Murchison on Sunday, where there will be a community BBQ on the river, complemented by a community market.
