From Victorian Championships in Geelong at the end of August to the National Clubs Carnival currently running on the Gold Coast, nine local gymnasts have delivered a lot of success to the Moama gym.
Team coach Kim McFadden said she was proud of the performance of her athletes at the Victorian championships in TeamGym.
"It was a fantastic effort by the whole group, I'm so proud of how they went in everything," she said.
"They competed in level two open, overall coming first in single mini, which was a really strong showing.
"They claimed second in floor routine, which had some really interesting moves considering the age range of the group, and also finished third in tumbling, which was enough for them to claim second overall."
The team of Milly Boyle, Jamison McFadden, Miya McDougal, Matilda Cooke, Tayli McKenna, Tahlia McMaster-Sharrock, Eve Ferris, Tia Ferris and Zoe Ferris brought a lot of energy to the event, according to McFadden.
"It's a team thing, so you need everyone to contribute to the event, and all of our girls did exactly that," she said.
"They all played their part, they selected their pieces well according to the level they are at. Some of them wanted to do harder skills, but chose something they knew they could perform extremely well to give as much to their team as they could."
As well as TeamGym success, three members - Milly Boyle, Tayli McKenna and Tahlia McMaster-Sharrock - also claimed bronze in fusion with the Bendigo members of the gym.
Now, the team is in the middle of appearing at National Clubs on the Gold Coast.
"We have athletes competing in tumbling, double mini and tramp, as well as some team events," she said.
"It's a really good opportunity for them to perform on the biggest stage and continue to get better."
