It will bring ukulele lovers from all over Australia and overseas for fun, friendship and a bit of learning.
A highlight of the festival is the ukulele flash mob, which will occur in the streets around Deniliquin sometime tomorrow.
The action kicks off tonight with an ‘Open Uke Night’ where participants will be given the opportunity to play up to two solo pieces or as a group for everyone in attendance.
A host of workshops is available to participants tomorrow, with instructors catering to novice, basic and intermediate and higher levels.
As well as picking up some handy tips about playing the popular instrument, workshops will cover song writing and arrangements.
Also tomorrow is the One Song Sing led by Mark Jackson and Jane Jelbart, and a dinner concert with performances by visiting workshop presenters.
Other presenters include Sam Lemann, Sarah Carroll, Leanne Murphy, Bob Haanstra and Patrick Evans.
More workshop opportunities are available on Sunday, with the big weekend of activities concluding with a performance showcase.
