The Do It In Deni Street Bazaar is on tomorrow and is the perfect opportunity to get out for a morning of shopping, fun and surprises.
There will be buskers, a jumping castle for the children and classic cars on display.
Along with food from local cafes, there will be a gourmet barbecue, souvlakis, Dutch pancakes and ice-cream.
Participating retailers will also have a large range of sales, from end of season clearances, to storewide sales and bargain items.
There will also be gift card draws, and shoppers will get an entry form for every $10 spent at a participating retailer. A draw will take place every hour during the Bazaar.
One event that will be missing from this year’s Bazaar line-up is the annual dog show.
Executive officer Lauren Ryan said the decision was made to not hold the dog show due to the Deniliquin Show being held on Saturday.
“I spoke to the Show Committee as soon as we realised there was a date clash,” she said.
“With the show already having plenty of animal events we didn’t want to take away from it, so we decided to not run our dog show.
“We have tried to work together to ensure people can go to both events.
“With the Bazaar being held in the morning and the Show running until late, it gives families a whole weekend of fun.
“The Show brings its own crowd in so hopefully they check out the Bazaar and those who come to the Bazaar are encouraged to check out the Show.”
The Street Bazaar will be held along Cressy St from 9am until midday tomorrow.
Cressy St will be blocked off from Edwardes and Napier St for this event.
The Street Bazaar has become an annual feature on the Business Chamber’s calendar.
