Corowa Race Club will host next Tuesday’s race meeting on an excellent track with an expected seven race program but again there will no crowds due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“The protocols have been issued by Racing NSW – no TAB, no bar, no public,” club president Brian Scolyer told The Free Press.
Those protocols, of course, are because of the COVID-19 restrictions.
“I anticipate it being a pretty good meeting,” Mr Scolyer said. “There’s no reason to suggest it won’t be.
“The track is in excellent condition and hopefully the weather will be fine.”
It will be the second race meeting at Corowa with no crowds, the first being back in April.
“It was a non-TAB race,” the president said. “The race was presented to us because of insufficient NSW race meetings at that time and we said yes.”
