Rutherglen’s most popular annual event, Winery Walkabout will still return this Saturday, June 6 from 12pm to 6pm after the Winemakers of Rutherglen reinvented the festival; taking it online with Australian DJ Hot Dub Time Machine headlining the event.


Wine enthusiast and TV personality, Tim Campbell will be hosting the event with cellar door tastings currently not permitted in line with restrictions, Winery Walkabout the House sees Rutherglen wineries come together virtually to showcase the very best of North-East Victoria’s celebrated wines with online wine chats and masterclasses. 

The virtual event also features a full programme of live entertainment including award-winning Aussie artists Ash Grunwald, Pierce Brothers and headliner Hot Dub Time Machine.

Winery Walkabout the House will include some of Walkabout’s most iconic pastimes, like the festival’s unofficial dress-up/costume theme, with the addition of new activities, challenges and games for 2020 to win points for their team and receive a Rutherglen prize pack.
