If you answered yes to any, or all of these questions then Rotary Youth Exchange is for you.
The Rotary Club of Corowa is looking for students from Corowa and surrounds to apply for its 2021 youth exchange program.
Applicants should be in years, 9, 10, or 11, be aged 15 or over and not have turned 17 at the time of departure, which will be early to mid-January 2021. Students should also be making sound academic progress at school, have an interest in people and places, be outgoing and prepared to fit into new situations.
Of course, it’s not all one big holiday, students are expected to attend school while overseas, but this in itself can be an adventure, as they see and experience how another country educates its people.
For those students interested in Youth Exchange, current exchange student from Finland, Vera Toppara will be only too happy to share her experiences, as will Sarah Hughes, who has recently returned from a year in France.
For more information and to complete an application form go to, www.ryea.org.au/apply-today.html or call Meredith Miegel 0417 246 546. Application close on April 30.
