“At our last meeting of the Corowa Business Chamber, we unanimously agreed that the Federation Business Awards should go on again, following on from the enormous success and positive feedback from our last effort in 2018,” Mary said.
“We have tentatively set a date for late May, early June for the Gala Dinner, but that is still subject to change as we get our planning underway.
“We are looking for volunteers to help form a sub-committee to run the event,” added Paul Schnelle, Chamber Treasurer and part of the organising committee of the 2018 and the 2020 event.
“Anyone who is interested in helping out, small or large, is invited to join us on Thursdays for an hour at 5.45pm. We meet in the RSL Club near the Pool table. It’s very informal.
“This will be our third awards event in recent time, so we have the basic framework,” Mary said.
“We just need some helpers to make it happen. It is too large a job for two or three!”
If you would like to be part of the planning group for this event, please contact Mary Hetherington at Hetherington Plumbing Service, Paul Schnelle at Potts & Schnelle and/or come along to the meetings.
The more the merrier! You don’t have to be a member of the Corowa Business Chamber to be part of this sub-committee.
