Grand final action in the Murray Bowls Division has arrived and there is plenty of local interest for Cobram and Barooga bowlers.
On Friday, Cobram Bowling Club will host the midweek deciders, with play starting at 9.30 am after a 9 am official welcome.
Barooga and Numurkah Golf will battle it out in division one, with a strong contingent of fans from the former expected due to the club being represented in division two as well.
Picola is the other outfit tasting grand final action, facing Barooga in the second division.
Proceedings are expected to wrap up about 1 pm, with medal presentations set to follow immediately on the green.
Numurkah will be the place to be on Saturday for the weekend pennant finale.
Numurkah Golf and Numurkah town will host two grand finals each, with division two and four action taking place at the former and division one and three going head-to-head at the latter venue.
Barooga is once again heavily represented, challenging for the division one, two and four flags.
Wunghnu is also vying for the top tier premiership and division three success, while Cobram sets itself for a division two derby against its close rival.
Jerilderie (division three) and Berrigan (four) are the other outfits with grand final representation.
A 12.45 pm official welcome will be held before the first bowl rolls down the green at 1.30 pm, with ecstasy and agony ensuing sometime after 5.30 pm.
