Answer: For events where Bowls Australia is the controlling body, all bowls must carry the stamp of the current or future calendar year in which the event takes place. For domestic events no stamp requirements are required unless specified in the conditions of play for that event.

In pennant last week, Friday pennant had great wins in divisions ones and two.In Saturday pennant, the fours had a bye. Division three had a good win against Tocumwal Golf, however divisions one and two lost, but still remain within the four. The next round now starts, so players need to knuckle down and attend training and practice all shots.
Bowls is on up to December 21, so let's make sure we win the next three games and go into the break secure in the knowledge we will all be playing finals this season.
The men's pairs final was played during the week and the winners were Ray Emerson and Gerald Rothe who defeated Bob Adams and Peter Velardo, 17-12.

The trade day this past week was at Finley RSC and the winners were Gerald Rothe, Gavan Cullen and Jim Escott. Runners-up were T Pierce, B. Doyle and P Cobben from Cobram. Best game winners: first game - N Barnes, S Seiter and I Furness from Numurkah; second game - S Campbell, I Bolten and K Scolyer from Nathalia; third game - B Agnew, K Berger and G Graham from Picola; fourth game - G Seamer, A Seamer and C Farrah from Tocumwal Golf.

Keith's Friday this week winners were Jeff Slater and visitor Libby Jennings from Cairns with +14. Runners-up were Alan Denson and Andy Jennings (visitor from Cairns, husband of Libby). Best first game went to Ken Anderson and Fred Pinnuck with 7. Best second game went to Peter Russell and Bob Bamford with 4 The jackpot was also safe this and will be worth $196.85 this week.

The club is holding its Christmas party on December 15 at the club rooms. A fully catered dinner will be served consisting of traditional Christmas roasts and veggies plus a choice of two sweets. All for $16 a head to be paid to Liz Ewing before the night. The night starts at 6 pm with nibbles with dinner at 6.30 pm. Please assist with the catering by placing your name down on the list at the Club and paying before the night.
Raffle tickets for the John Canning painting must be returned before the night also.
