Answer to last week's question: If in a pennant game there is a absent player after 30 minutes has elapsed and there is no substitute available, what happens?

Answer: A team with an absent player plays as though the second is the missing player. The order of play shall be maintained by the second of the complete team playing consecutive bowls. Usual number of bowls are played by both sides.

This week's question: If during the course of play the jack or bowl at rest is altered by the wind, storm or any other unforseen incident what happens?

The draw for the B-grade singles has been done.

The draw is as follows: J Slater bye, M Whelan v K Newton, G Bennett v G Ashcroft, P Linquist v J Canning.

The envelopes and score cards are on the wall with the draw. Good luck to bowlers. The first day was Sunday.

Saturday pennant had three wins and midweek pennant had one win and one loss.

Divisions one, three and four won on Saturday and division one won on Friday.

Most scores are on the Murray Bowls website. Murray Bowls apologised for the non appearance of some scores, but there was a problem with the set up and this has now been rectified.

However, with Allan Clarke unwell, it has not been possible to put in the earlier scores just yet, but will be updated as soon as possible.

The club's Team app just refers to the Murray Bowls website, so that is why scores do not appear there at the moment for all grades.

Share the wealth is on again on November 12 and more teams would be appreciated, so if you can, please put your name down.

The finals of the men's and women's club championships were played yesterday, followed by the club's Melbourne Cup day fun with chicken and champage and plenty of sweeps.

Friday was, as usual, Keith's Friday and a loyal bunch of 12 bowlers attended attempting to win the jackpot, which did not go off, so is worth $120.85 this week. If you can spare the afternoon, come down and enjoy the day.

Winners were Bill Hoog and Peter Buller with +16 ahead of Geoff Brentnall and Ed Coulstock with 9. Best first-game winners were Kevin Kennedy and Des Toohey with 4. Best second-game went to the pairing of Allan Denson and Graeme Hickey with 8

Last Monday was a great day for the bowls aggregate games. Winners were Val Linquist, Carol Cox, Elaine Rothe and Heather Crosthwaite.

On Wednesday, Barooga hosted a very enjoyable trade day.

Winners were Judy McDonald, Elsie Gale and Jan Doherty from Mooroopna Golf with 48 points.

The Barooga team of Ruth Campbell, Karen Bruce and Ruth Burnett also had 48 points but were

runners up based on shots up for the day.

Berrigan's team, skipped by Katie Vandermeer won the best second game with 6 shots up.

The next club event is the women's pairs. Entries close Friday, November 15.
