Barooga's practice match against Corowa was well attended and fought out in great spirit, but unfortunately they got the better of us and won the day by 34 shots overall.

Next week it is against Shepparton East on Saturday and we still need more players to make themselves available for this one as Shepparton East are sending over 50 bowlers.
So we need to have at least this number to play against them.

Section A - 1st: Gerald Rothe and Jeff Nesbit (+20); 2nd: Vic Kendall and Chris Thorn ( 12); 3rd: Ray Wright and Ron Dean ( 9).
Section B - 1st: Stuart and Kerry Ralph ( 26); 2nd: Jimmy and Cheryl Townsing ( 23); 3rd: Archie West and Ian Smethurst ( 5).
A reminder that the match committee would like more entries in the club events on the noticeboard, they are club singles, club pairs, club fours and B-grade singles, so get your names down now.
Keith's Friday winners were Ken Anderson and Neville Walsh ( 24) and the runners up had to be decided on percentage as both teams of Maree O'Brien/Bob Bamford and Bruce McKenzie/ John Bruce had 12 and 14 ends.
Maree and Bob had 63.64 per cent and Bruce and John had 66.67 per cent, so were the runners up.
Best first-game winners were Marita O'Kane and Gavan Cullen with 11 and best second game winners were Val Linquist and Des Toohey with 7.
Ladies social day on Monday had some bad weather with only a small number participating in the aggregate. Winners were Di Nye, Maree O'Brien and Jill Toohey.
Ray Emerson's coaching session was again well attended, with players concentrating on weight and distance.
This week's Wednesday Trade Day at Berrigan was well supported by our Barooga Club with four teams entered.
