The Roar player walked away with an individual honour at the annual Albury Wodonga Football Association awards night on Wednesday.
Grant, who turned 17 two days after receiving the award, polled 43 votes, three more than Boomers custodian Tai Wilson.
Mitchell Speechley-Price and Hannah Kent were also invited to the awards.
Speechley-Price was in the running for division one men’s golden boot with the Englishmen scoring 32 goals in the regular season. Despite the impressive total, he fell short of Wangaratta duo Thomas Romero (33) and Adam Burchell (34) with the latter also being named the league’s star player.
Kent was runner-up in the division two women’s star goalkeeper award with 31 votes. She finished behind St Pat's number one Nikita Tabuteu-Rosas by five votes, but she was also five votes clear of Albury Hotspurs’ Christie Ward.
