Club members will be at the hall to make quilts for the bushfire-affected community in Corryong.
Cobram Quilters Club president Dianne Dungan said they were welcoming donations of 100 per cent cotton fabric and money to buy fabric, as well as anyone who would be available to help make quilts.
“Everyone is welcome to come,” she said.
“If you have an hour or two spare, there will be hand-sewing and ironing to be done if you are not a sewer.”
Mrs Dungan said the club liked to give back to the community and has made quilts in the past for those impacted by the Black Saturday and Canberra fires.
“Quilting is what we do - it’s something we can give to them to show we're thinking about them,” she said.
Cobram Rotary Club will deliver the quilts to Corryong Rotary Club closer to May this year.
“We’ll have tea and coffee, and hopefully we’ll get a good roll up of people,” Mrs Dungan said.
“We’re busy cutting out some quilts ready to go.”
The club will be at the hall, on Murray Valley Hwy, between Cobram and Strathmerton, from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday, February 20, and Friday, February 21.
