In another strong weekend of shooting for North Eastern Archers members, Connor Schelfhout and Jack Bennett finished with top-three places in their respective competitions.
Competing at Sherbrooke Archers in a two-day target field event known as the Sherbrooke Silver Cup, Schelfhout, as well as Ethan Start, shot one day of unmarked distances and another of marked distances.
Discipline sees Pritchard earn black belt
At the conclusion of the competition, Schelfhout placed third in the Intermediate Recurve division, while Start finished ninth in the Open Men’s Compound.
In a second event over the weekend, Bennett competed in a 3D discipline tournament, hosted by Mornington Peninsula Bowmen.
Benalla’s Hook In2 Hockey back at it
Following two days of intense shooting, Bennett placed second in the Advanced Hunter Class.
The tournament is part of a series conducted by each state, with Mornington Peninsula Bowmen hosting the Victorian leg of 3DAAA (3D Archery Association of Australia) this year.
