As I grow old with bones stiff and soreI tend to walk slower, I don't run anymoreBut I look back on life without regret'cause the good times I've had we're really great
My body is sore and I'm in painBut I pay it no mind and I don't complainAll the great memories can't be taken awayI've done what I've done no matter what they say
There's been valleys to walk and mountains to climbSome times have been tough but I don't mindGrowing old isn't so badIt's all a part of life no need to be sad
Although I can't do some things I've doneThere's still lots to do and goals to be wonI had to write this verse and have my sayBut I'd like to thank God for his help along the way.
