The Friends of the Benalla Library would like to let their valued customers know that the RedB4 bookshop on Bridge St will be re-opening on Monday, June 1, at 10 am.
Committee spokesperson Geraldine McCorkell said the volunteers were happy to resume duties and they would love to see some familiar faces at the Redb4 bookshop.

“This little bookshop provides an enormous amount of financial assistance to the library,” Ms McCorkell said.
“In 2019 the Friends provided Benalla Council with $15 000 towards the cost of installing an RFID system at the library to bring it up-to-date in the technical world.
“A small benefit of the COVID-19 virus is that the staff have been able to do all the necessary internal library work towards this installation whilst the library has been closed.

“Apart from paying for various newspaper and magazine subscriptions, the bookshop also provides the library with petty cash, a water cooler, and recently had cupboards, a refrigerator and dishwasher fitted in the staff room. All this from our Redb4 bookshop.
“Please continue to support us with your book donations and custom.”
