The Murchison Fire Brigade joined forces with the Good Friday Appeal Feaster at the start of the month to raise much-needed funds for the Good Friday Appeal.
The brigade held its Freddy Feaster morning tea on Sunday, April 7, with Freddy Fire Truck in attendance to entertain children.
Members rallied together to put on a country-style morning tea which was well supported by the community, raising more than $200 for the worthy cause.
Murchison CFA member Sharon Reilly said the children had a great time playing inside Freddy Fire Truck and parents were able to capture some treasured memories.
The Murchison Fire Brigade members will be out and about in their community collecting funds for the Good Friday Appeal from 9am on Friday.
‘‘Please support our team so we can all give so that they may grow,’’ Ms Reilly said.
