Barefoot Bowls for Kye

By Yarrawonga Chronicle

The Katamatite Lions are in for a great social night for fun and barefoot bowling all in the name of a good cause.

The fun social night starting at 7pm sharp on Wednesday, February 20 at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club will be raising money to help young three-year-old Kye Pierce with his battle with Leukemia.

At a cost of $10 per person with all proceeds going to Kye, the club are looking to have a dining area set aside on the Greenside Terrace.

It is a lovely set up and overlooks the bowling green and the 18th hole of the Lakes course.

For those interested in a meal before bowling the Katamatite Lions recommend that you arrive at 6pm to have time to order and eat.

The special on the night is a choice of three “Pot and Parma’s” for $20 or just dine in from the a la carte menu.

The Katamatite Lions would also like to thank the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club and Bowls Club for their help and support.

Everyone on the night will receive a raffle ticket and there will be plenty of prizes given away.

Everyone is welcome and you may like to come as a team of four or just come on your own and form a team on the night.

It does not matter if you have played before or not as it is all about having fun and a bit of banter.

You may go barefoot or choose flat soled shoes.

All drinks will be at take away prices from behind the bar.
