The Feast on the Fairway was again a magnificent five-course dining experience despite it not being held under the stars out on the 18th fairway due to the cool weather.
Under darkened lighting and strings of festoon lighting the outside was brought indoors and the night continued under a perfect ambience for 70 guests travelling in from around the district, one lady especially flying down from Brisbane just for the occasion.
Playing his baby grand piano, Tony from Zoot Suit performed tunes from the keyboard to ensure calming surrounds adding to the pleasant experience.
Mushroom croquettes with truffle aioli, lemon cured swordfish, Thai pumpkin puree, crispy shallots and a lemon dill curd were just some of the taste sensations carefully prepared from the expert chefs at Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort and savoured on appreciative tongues.
“I have to compliment the chefs once again for another great night to remember,” said Stephen Buckley who was attending his fourth Feast on the Fairway.
“Although it was disappointing that we had to sit inside, the atmosphere and the quality was up there with any culinary event that I have attended, the good name of the “Feast” is certainly spreading to food lovers around our area.”
Sensational food, great ambience, good company and soothing background music all made for a perfect evening at Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort.
