‘‘There are 14 projects across Indi that will benefit from this $3.45 million,’’ Ms McGowan said.
‘‘I Congratulate all the community groups, local councils and others who have worked so hard on their applications for this funding.
‘‘Their hard work has paid off.’’
Ms McGowan said the projects included $1.3 million for Alpine Shire to finish the shared bike trail between Bright and Harrietville, $1 million for Indigo Shire for their Epic Mountain Bike Trail between Yackandandah and Beechworth, $400000 for the Colac Colac caravan park revitalisation, $40000 to upgrade Corryong Memorial Public Hall kitchen, and $20500 for Wangaratta Football and Netball Club.
‘‘The injection of these funds into the electorate of Indi will bring flow-on benefits in jobs and economic stimulation and I am pleased to see the communities benefiting from this grant program,’’ Ms McGowan said.
