Kids united in song

By Laura Briggs

Sacred Heart Primary School students have joined with 700000 others singing one song at one time in thousands of schools across Australia.

The school took part in the country’s largest music participation program Music: Count Us In (MCUI) on Thursday afternoon.

Students were joined on the big screen by program ambassador John Foreman and MCUI’s music mentor for 2018 Justine Clarke.

The celebration ceremony began by introducing students watching from their schools to the student song-writers who were involved in the writing and recording of the song.

In closing Ms Clarke counted down the country and students participated by singing and dancing together.
