The midfielder is a key cog to the Magpie machine, consistently doing a job and putting his body on the line for his home town club.
‘‘I play as an inside midfielder, so I try and bring a bit of strength, a bit of toughness around the contest,’’ he said.
With 118 games across all grades and 54 at the senior level, Mole helps blend together the side’s promising youngsters with its experienced edge, the same way the club tries to manage a Euroa training group and one in Melbourne.
‘‘We’re definitely a young group, but I think we’ve got a lot of talent here though,’’ he said.
‘‘We’ve been able to retain a lot of local boys and get them together with our Melbourne crew.
‘‘I think the more time we spend together, the more beneficial it will be. We try and get together a fair bit in preseason, a couple of times at least just to meet all the new recruits.’’
Mole said nothing compared with the experience of playing home games at Memorial Oval.
‘‘It’s definitely a good club to be a part of, it’s a really good community atmosphere and the whole town usually gets around you on a Saturday,’’ he said.
‘‘There’s not much better than playing footy in front of a Euroa crowd.’’
