Tocumwal will look to bounce back from its first Picola District Netball League loss of the season this weekend when it hosts Strathmerton.
It will be no easy task for the Bloods though, with the Bulldogs on top of the table thanks to a healthy percentage.
Leah Nish and Abby Wilson stood tall for Tocumwal against Deniliquin last round, but despite trailing by just a goal with minutes remaining in the game the Bloods fell to a four-goal defeat.
The Bulldogs were comfortable winners against Yarroweyah, with 25 goals the final margin.
Waaia will be keen to put in a good showing when it hosts the Rovers on Saturday.
The Bombers have a 3-2 record this season, but will fancy themselves a chance at knocking over Deniliquin.
Chrissy Hurst and Janice Hilton stood out for the Rovers last week, but the likes of Carissa Bulmer, Lucy Howard, Monty Jones, Jackie Thorpe and Abbey Wills were also integral in the win.
Berrigan travels to face Mathoura on Saturday after the Timbercutters defeated Blighty by 11 goals last time out.
‘‘We spoke about wanting to push on each quarter and we managed to do that,’’ Mathoura coach Rohan Starkey told the Riverine Herald.
‘‘The girls worked hard for the entire match and deserved the reward.
‘‘We will have to improve again (this week).
‘‘But our confidence is up and we are up for any challenge.’’
In other fixtures this weekend, Jerilderie takes on Blighty, Katamatite hosts Rennie and Picola United travels to Yarroweyah, with Katunga having the bye.
