Big crowd celebrates culture

NAIDOC Week celebrations were in full swing in Seymour, with a large crowd gathering to mark the occasion on July 10.

After a welcome to country and smoking ceremony, there was a parade along Station St to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievement in Mitchell Shire.

After the parade, the crowd gathered at Kings Park for a range of stalls and family-friendly events.
