Dr Dahl is the chair of the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of Florida and the president of the American Dairy Science Association.

He will offer practical advice for managing heat stress, including how to increase milk production and in-calf rates and the impact of heat stress in dry cows on calf growth and development.

■Tuesday, October 23 at Brendan Martin’s farm, 1383 Restdown Rd, Bamawm, from 11am to 2pm.
