Have you recently had a call from someone asking about your level of satisfaction with Shepparton’s council?
The fourth quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey for Greater Shepparton City Council is currently under way.
Council’s corporate services director Chris Teitzel said the survey was an important tool in helping the council understand whether it was meeting community expectations of the services, facilities and activities it provided.
‘‘It will provide insight into ways council can improve service delivery, and all information gathered will be used to provide ongoing improvements for Greater Shepparton,’’ Mr Teitzel said.
Phone interviews are being conducted by research resource company Thinkfield with Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing randomly selecting residents 18 years and older in the Greater Shepparton municipality.
‘‘Residents who receive a phone call can be assured this is a legitimate survey conducted on behalf of Greater Shepparton City Council,’’ Mr Teitzel said.
‘‘I would like to encourage residents to have their say on the various topics being presented.’’
Surveys will be taking place until Monday, June 17.
The fourth quarter results will be made available to the public after a report is presented to the council.
